Doing business in Qatar
How should a Qatar ecommerce site explain prices and order totals?

Make the amount understandable throughout the order. A customer should not discover an unexplained change between the product page and payment.
Read the journey with the customer’s question in mind
Compare the product, basket, shipping choice, discount and final total. Explain any required charge where it becomes relevant. Then check the record received after ordering and whether payment was actually collected. For COD, an order confirmation is not a collection receipt. Have the owner approve commercial wording and get suitable advice on the activity’s financial requirements. A theme setting cannot determine a business’s legal or tax obligations for it.
Review the whole total
Compare the product page, basket, checkout and resulting order record. Test discounts and different destinations. Do not label a displayed price as final if required charges appear later without an understandable explanation.
Keep records meaningful
Agree what the customer receives as confirmation or invoice and what the business needs for reconciliation. Verify the actual platform and provider output. A confirmation message should not imply collected payment when the order uses an unpaid manual method.
Approve commercial wording
Have the owner review currencies, inclusions and fees. Consult current official commerce guidance and qualified advice for requirements specific to the activity. Do not invent a tax rate or claim an automatic compliance result because a platform setting is enabled.
Read the total as a new customer
Follow a sample cart from product page to confirmation and note every change to the amount. Explain optional extras, delivery charges and discount conditions at the point they matter. Ask your accounting adviser about the documents your business needs; interface wording should match the actual charging process.
