Doing business in Qatar
How should website forms handle Qatar addresses and phone numbers?

Ask the delivery team what it needs, then design the form around that. A template for another country may reject perfectly useful local information.
Test the awkward inputs
Try an Arabic name, an international phone number and an address mixing Arabic and English. Does the keyboard suit the field, and does the error explain how to fix it? Avoid forcing a foreign postcode pattern just because the original template used one. Distinguish delivery information from a quote enquiry, which may need much less. Keep entered data when submission fails and decide who can access it afterward.
Define operational fields
Confirm the address details your courier uses and which fields are necessary for a quote versus a delivery. Avoid asking for identity documents or unrelated personal data in an ordinary enquiry. Keep instructions clear in the languages you support.
Test realistic inputs
Review international phone format, Arabic names and mixed-language address text. Check keyboard behaviour and error messages on mobile. Do not enforce a foreign postcode pattern merely because it was present in a template.
Preserve and protect submissions
Keep entered information when validation fails and use appropriate access controls for stored data. W3C guidance supports clear labels and usable forms. Agree how the team corrects incomplete details without exposing customer information publicly.
Check what the courier actually needs
Ask the delivery team to review a sample order from the form. Identify missing details and unnecessary fields. Explain why any additional information is needed, especially location notes, and keep it available to the people fulfilling the order rather than collecting it without a clear purpose.
