Operations and next steps
Should you maintain your website or rebuild it?

Start with the problems the current site cannot solve. A rebuild is a large intervention, not the automatic answer to an old-looking page.
Compare two realistic scopes
List the failing customer and editing tasks, then ask what repairing them would involve. Separately price migration, new content and retraining for a replacement. A navigation or copy problem may not require changing the whole system; inaccessible accounts or serious structural limits may change the decision. Include recovery and link preservation in either plan. Define what success looks like before approving a modern-looking design that leaves the original problem untouched.
Diagnose the constraint
Separate inaccurate content, broken integrations and unclear navigation from technical limitations. List the customer tasks that fail and the business tasks that are difficult to maintain. A dated visual style alone does not establish that every component must be replaced.
Compare the recovery options
Estimate repairs against migration, content preparation and retraining. Review access, backups and the support arrangement. WordPress documents recovery requirements; any platform choice should include how the business will preserve data and resume operation after changes.
Set measurable acceptance
Define what the selected approach must improve and what needs preserving. Use representative journeys and a rollback route. Avoid approving a rebuild because it sounds more modern without a clear explanation of the problem it solves.
Name the faults before choosing a solution
List the important tasks the current site fails and the evidence for each. Ask what fixing those requires and compare that with rebuilding, including migration and disruption. If content or ownership is the real issue, a new design alone may carry the same problem into another system.
